We're in the final DAYS of this project! We will still be taking donations through December 20 and then figuring out how many trips it will take us to get it all to Y.C.C. and Safe Harbor! If you have anything that you would like to donate, you still have time! You can drop things off at our home in Mountain Green or at Morgan Elementary School! The 5th graders at Morgan have done a fabulous job of getting the word out and sorting through donations!
Grantsville Elementary and Willow Elementary 4th grades have been collecting as well for Pathways! Today is the last day they will be taking donations and will be dropping everything off tonight!
If you live in the South Davis area Krista Bailey will be collecting items through the 20th also.
Thank you for all of your help and support!

A GREAT START, ADDED ITEMS and A NEW CONTACT PERSON:)
We're off to a FANTASTIC start! As I mentioned before Morgan Elementary school has adopted this service project and we have been overwhelmed by the response! The giving tree has only been in the front entrance of M.E.S. for two days and already so many people have taken ornaments and donated. I love watching how excited my students get when donations are left under the giving tree and they get to sort the items into the boxes!
We have also had several of our neighbors deliver donations to our home! I feel very blessed to live and work in such generous communities!
I spoke with Y.C.C. this evening and realized that there were a few items left off of the list!!!
Diapers (sizes 1-5), Wipes, Baby Lotion, Baby Powder, Blankets, Gloves, Mittens, Pens, Pencils
I apologize for the added items, but after speaking with Y.C.C. I felt that I needed to correct my mistake!
We have a new contact person for Davis County. Krista Bailey will act as a collection point for South Davis County! Thanks Krista! If you live in her area and need her contact info please message me at alyn0128@gmail.com.

New Drop off for Morgan County!:)
Starting Monday November 28, 2011 Morgan Elementary school will be serving as a collection point! My 5th grade class heard about our family service project and wanted to be involved. After getting the necessary approvals the entire 5th grade will be participating. The community is welcome to donate at this location. A giving tree will be put up in the front entrance with ornaments that have the needed supplies printed on them!
THANKS MORGAN ELEMENTARY!
****Again if you would like to help by donating or by serving as a collection point please contact me alyn0128@gmail.com. We are still looking for more collection points in Weber, Davis, and Tooele Counties.

Details Details Details!
This year our family will be collecting donations for 3 separate Women and Children Shelters. All three shelters are a safe haven for women and children who have been victims of domestic violence. Many of them cannot leave the shelter for safety reasons. All who live there are extremely brave and have taken the first step toward a new life and breaking the cycle of domestic violence in their families. Many left with "0" money and have no family to support them through this journey. Thankfully, there are shelters that will help them start a new life. These shelters are in need of donated supplies this season. We will be collecting donations for 3 shelters.
